Our Story
mol·TUR·ee — Founded in Torino, 1982
Enzo Molturi began his craft in a small workshop outside Torino. His father had spent forty years restoring furniture for the great estates of Piedmont — walnut cabinets, marquetry floors, ornate timber panelling that had survived centuries. Enzo inherited the hands and the standards, but chose to build forward. In 1994, that lifelong pursuit became MOLTURI — a workshop founded to create new interiors worthy of the old ones.
Early commissions from Milanese architects led to projects in Geneva, then Monaco, then the hillside villas of the South of France. By the mid-2000s MOLTURI was working across borders as a matter of course — delivering tolerances few workshops would attempt, in materials few workshops dare to promise.
“Design every interior as if it will outlast the building.” That conviction shaped a workshop that now employs forty craftsmen, operating advanced CNC machinery alongside hand-finishing benches. The machines achieve precision; the hands achieve character. Neither is optional.
Over four decades of Italian craft, now available to British homes. The same workshops near Torino, the same uncompromising standards — with a dedicated UK team that understands the architecture, respects the brief, and manages every project from first consultation to final inspection.
